Hyderabadi/Raw meat biryani

Ingredients:

  • 750 gm chicken
  • 500 gm rice
  • 350 gm yogurt
  • 2 tbs whole garam masala
  • 1/2 tea spoon yellow food color
  • 2 tea spoon kewda water
  • 3 tbs red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tbs grounded turmeric
  • 1 tea spoon grounded cumin seeds
  • 1 tea spoon grounded coriander
  • 6 tbs cooking oil
  • 50 gm plum
  • 4 tbs green chilli paste
  • 4 small and 2 large cardamom
  • 1 tea spoon spice mac and nutmeg
  • handful green coriander
  • bunch of mint leaves

Directions:In a bowl put whole chicken pieces(with bone), add 2 tbs whole garam masala,350 gm yoguty, yellow food color, kewdra water, 3 tbs grounded red chilli powder, half tea spoon turmeric, 1 tea spoon grounded cumin seeds, 1 tea spoon grounded coriander powder, salt to taste, 4 tbs cooking oil and 50 gm plum then merinate for 2 hours.In a pot bring the water to boil add 2 tbs salt and rice bring the rice to cook half then drain on stainer. On other pot add marinated chicken, then add 4 tbs green chilli paste then pour the half cooked rice on raw chicken, on top some kewda full green chilli,mint and green coriander, 4 small cardamom,2 large cardamom,2 tbs oil, 1 tea spoon of spice mace and nutmeg.Cover for 15 minutes, remove the lid after 15 minutes amd serve hot biryani.
