Ingredients:
1 cup yellow lentils (moong or masoor)
1 onion (cleaved)
1 tomato (cleaved)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tsp salt
½ tsp turmeric
1 tsp red bean stew powder
½ tsp cumin seeds
1 tbsp margarine
1 tbsp oil
Directions:
- Bubble lentils with salt, turmeric, and water until delicate.
- Heat oil; add cumin seeds, onions, and garlic. Sauté until brilliant.
- Add tomatoes and red bean stew powder. Cook until delicate.
- Add this combination to the lentils and blend well.
- Top with margarine and serve hot with roti.
